Wcp® Calvin Haines

Calvin Haines has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Calvin began their career at G.H. Bass & Co. as a Programmer/Analyst in 1981, where they maintained IBM and third-party software on various mainframes. Calvin then transitioned to the role of Technical Specialist, providing hardware support and user support for AS/400s in multiple warehouses. Calvin joined United Timber in 1996 as the Manager of IT, where they oversaw the management of an AS/400, PC's, printers, and phone equipment. During their time there, they implemented barcode and wireless client access solutions to improve the inventory system and lumberyard operations. In 1997, Calvin returned to G.H. Bass & Co. as a Technical Specialist, continuing their previous role until 1999. Calvin then joined MEMIC as a Sr. Network Engineer/AS400 Administrator. In this role, they managed multiple IBM i systems, performed system upgrades and maintenance, and provided third-party software support. Calvin's work experience demonstrates their technical skills in IBM systems, network administration, and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency.
