Kristin Thompson

Kristin serves as a Development Project Manager on The Menkiti Group’s Development Team. In her role, she utilizes her civil engineering background and construction management experience to bring a technical perspective to the construction and management of high-value development projects. Kristin’s role spans the development timeline from conceptual design through tenant turnover, where her responsibilities include collaborating with architects & engineers, construction oversight, maintaining construction budgets, and managing tenant buildouts.

Kristin is a native Texan, from Dallas, who relocated to the DMV in 2015 to further pursue a career in construction management. She began her career working for an environmental consulting firm to bring waste recovery technologies to the US and later served as a Construction Project Manager overseeing construction and renovation projects in the Northern Virginia area. After five years in construction management in the fast-paced DMV region, Kristin redirected her career by acquiring her real estate license and transitioning into Real Estate and Development.
