Scott Whitaker

Scott Whitaker has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Scott started their career as a Senior Accountant at Grossberg Company, CPA's in 1990. Scott then went on to serve as a Controller at Sumner Development Company from 1993 to 1995. After that, they joined MeriStar Hospitality Corporation as a Corporate Controller, where they worked until 1999. Whitaker then worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Budgets at OAO Technology Solutions (OAOT) from 1999 to 2000. Scott briefly served as the Chief Financial Officer at Collective Communications Corporation from 2000 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as an Independent Financial Consultant for various organizations such as WorldCom, US Airways, and PBI Media. From 2004 to 2009, they served as the Director of Financial Reporting at RLJ Development, LLC. Whitaker then worked as an Independent Financial Consultant again from 2011 to 2015, providing services to organizations like Kratos Defense & Security and Integral Systems Inc. Scott currently holds the position of VP Finance at Menkiti Group, a role they have been in since 2015. Throughout their career, Whitaker has gained extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and consulting.

Scott Whitaker received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Prior to attending university, they attended DCHS, although the specific years and any degree or field of study are unknown. Additionally, they obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive from HFTP in May 1995, Certified Management Accountant from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in February 1991, and Certified Public Accountant from AICPA in March 1989.
