Kevin East

Kevin East comes from an extensive background of ministry strategy, staff leadership, and community engagement. He and his wife, Stephanie, have called Tyler, Texas home for almost 20 years. During many of those years he was the Executive Director of Ministries at Pine Cove, overseeing all of Pine Cove's camps and ministries.

Kevin has served as President of the Mentoring Alliance since 2013.

Kevin is a dynamic communicator, having spoken at various events on issues about biblical truth and godly parenting. He is currently on the speaker team of Family Matters, and speaks at events each year on Grace Based Parenting.

Kevin and his wife, Stephanie, are the proud parents of five children. Two of them began as foster children, but God allowed them the great opportunity to adopt them in the fall of 2012. Stephanie and Kevin share a strong passion for families living out the mission of God. They have done this through fostering and mentoring children, opening their home to those who have needed a safe place full of godly love, security and healing.

Kevin is a graduate of Louisiana State University and completed his Master of Arts in Global Leadership through Fuller Seminary. He is currently an active member at Bethel Bible Church in Tyler, Texas.

His podcast, “Following to Lead,” is a platform he uses to provide young leaders and young parents with intensely practical biblical instruction. He speaks and interviews about how our relationship with Christ impacts our families and our leadership capabilities.
