Jia-Jian Gan

Jia-Jian Gan has a diverse work experience that includes roles in finance, education, and the military. Jia-Jian currently serves as the Vice President of The MergerSight Group, a student-led financial research company specializing in M&A deals. Prior to that, Jia-Jian was a candidate at SEO London, where they gained valuable professional development opportunities. Jia-Jian also interned at BSQ Capital as a Special Situations Private Equity Intern and at Forebright as an Asset Management Intern. Jia-Jian's military experience includes serving as a Lieutenant in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Additionally, they founded Rental Hearts, a non-profit organization that provided academic tutoring services. Under Jia-Jian's leadership, Rental Hearts grew to include four physical locations, garnered financial grants and donations, and contributed significant educational resources and services.

Jia-Jian Gan received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, they attended Raffles Institution from 2018 to 2019 and Maris Stella High School from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Jia-Jian Gan has obtained several certifications, including the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) ® from Corporate Finance Institute in 2023, and the AmplifyMe Finance Accelerator Simulation, JPMorgan Chase Asset Management Virtual Experience, JPMorgan Chase Investment Banking Virtual Experience, Advanced Certification in Team Leadership, and Diploma in Logistics in previous years.
