The Met
Victoria Robinson serves as the Director and Chair of Bury BID Ltd since April 2021 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Met since November 2005, leading strategic and operational initiatives for the National Portfolio Organisation under the Arts Council. Victoria successfully directed a £4.6 million capital campaign for a Grade II Listed venue, oversaw HR policy development, and contributed to festival planning and organizational strategy. With a strong background in marketing and fundraising, Victoria has also held positions such as Deputy Director and Marketing Manager at The Met and has experience in public relations and event management from previous roles at CIPR, Mute, and MC2 Communications. Victoria holds a Master of Arts in Public Relations and additional qualifications from recognized institutions, including a degree from the University of Oxford.

The Met
The Met is a stunning, award winning live music venue noted nationally for its specialist folk music programme. Formed in 1975, Bury Metropolitan Arts Association took over the historic Derby Hall in Bury in 1979, and the venue now known as The Met was born. The Grade II listed building underwent a multi-million-pound refurbishment in 2016, and now incorporates two modernised performance spaces, popular dining restaurant Automatic, a variety of events & meetings space, and the Edwin Street Creative Hub which includes Edwin Street Recording Studio and an amazing rehearsal space. The Met is also the proud organiser and promoter of Head for the Hills festival welcoming around 12,000 music lovers to Ramsbottom every year.
