Karen Walker

Karen Walker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administration, accounting, and operations across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Administration and Operations in the Registrar Office at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since November 2021, Karen has previously held roles including Accountant/Bookkeeper at Jenny and Francois Selections and Credit and Collections Manager at Bonhams. Notably, Karen spent a decade at Christie's in various capacities, excelling as Assistant Credit Manager where responsibilities included managing receivables over $1 billion and training credit team members. Karen also has teaching experience at Hillsborough High School and holds a Master of Arts in Science Teacher Education from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of New Rochelle.
