Greg obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Juniata College, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Prior to that, they completed their College Prep diploma at Conestoga High School from 1972 to 1975.

Additionally, Greg holds a Disability Income Fellow (DIF) certification, which they obtained from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Greg is also licensed in Pennsylvania for life and health insurance.
