Brittany Wallman is an accomplished investigative reporter currently working at Miami Herald since November 2023. Prior to this position, Brittany served in various roles at South Florida Sun Sentinel from February 1998 to November 2023, including Investigations Editor and Senior Journalist, and was part of the team that won the Pulitzer Gold Coin for Public Service in 2019 for coverage of the Parkland shooting. Brittany's journalism career began at The News-Press Media Group, focusing on local government coverage from 1991 to 1998, following which responsibilities included copyediting and news reporting at The Independent Florida Alligator. Brittany holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, completed in 1991.
