Christina Moss Mayo has over four decades of experience in journalism and writing, currently serving as a Writer and Columnist for the Miami Herald Media Company since January 2005, where notable contributions include profiles of first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic and annual articles on holiday lights and summer camps. Prior to this role, Christina worked as a Journalism Adviser at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School from August 2000 to May 2018, mentoring students in various journalistic skills, and also served in a similar capacity at Gulliver Preparatory School in 2011-2012. Early career highlights include publishing a travel newsletter for Weekend Getaways, Inc., and holding significant editing and marketing roles at Viewtron and Knight Ridder Newspapers, where early email and interactive communication initiatives were developed. Christina's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.
