Jeff Kleinman

Jeff Kleinman is a highly experienced journalist and editor at the Miami Herald, where Jeff has held various positions since 1985. Currently serving as the Consumer Team Editor, Jeff oversees consumer coverage in South Florida, including health, shopping, real estate, and tourism. In addition, Jeff manages breaking news as the Day Editor, overseeing the newsroom's digital platforms and daily smart speaker audiocast. Throughout their career at the Miami Herald, Jeff has also worked as a night news editor, copy desk chief, and assignment editor, supervising teams and enhancing publication processes. Jeff began their career as a reporter covering local issues in Miami-Dade County. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Political Science from Florida International University.
