Soania Mathur

Soania Mathur is a distinguished medical professional and advocate with extensive experience in the field of Parkinson's disease. As a Co-Founder of PD Avengers, Soania has played a pivotal role in advancing patient advocacy. In addition, Soania serves as Co-Chair of the Patient Advisory Council and a member of the Executive Science Advisory Board at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Involvement with several organizations includes being a member of the Patient Advisory Board at Toronto Western Hospital Movement Disorder Clinic, the Medical Advisory Committee at Parkinson Canada, and a board member at the Davis Phinney Foundation. Leadership roles include Chairman of the Development Committee and a member of the Board of Directors at Lakeridge Health Foundation, as well as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Parkinson's Disease. Soania also leads Hippylicious Inc. as CEO and actively participates as a Parkinson's advocate with several organizations. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie University and a Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Toronto.
