Ken Grullon

Director at The Mid-atlantic Permanente Medical Group

Ken joined The Permanente Medical Group in 1998 and is an OB/GYN and urogynecologist in the Diablo Service Area, a region that spans from Walnut Creek to Antioch in the north and Pleasanton to Livermore in the south. He attended Harvard University and graduated Magna cum Laude with a BA in the Comparative Study of Religion. Between college and medical school, Ken spent a year in Peru after college on a Rotary Foundation Fellowship. After graduating from UC, San Francisco Medical School, he went on to be an intern, resident, and faculty member at the same institution. Ken continues as an Associate Clinical Professor at UC, SF.

Ken has served as the physician in chief for the Diablo Service Area in the Permanente Medical Group since 2014. In this capacity, Ken co-leads 1,000 physicians who care for 450,000 members at eight medical office sites and two hospitals. Ken sits on the Board of Directors for both The Permanente Medical Group (since 2006) and the Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (since 2012). Ken has been the treasurer and chair of the Finance, Audit, and Retirement Committee for the MAPMG since 2015 and was recently elected as the treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee for TPMG.

He has been married to his wife, Jennifer for over 25 years and has two wonderful adult children, Julia and Dylan. In his spare time, Ken trains and competes in triathlons.
