Hans Carpay

Hans Carpay, MD PhD, is a consultant neurologist at The Migraine Clinic since August 2022. Previously, Carpay served as a neurologist at Tergooi from January 1997 to July 2022, where Carpay also held the position of chairman of the board of physicians. From March 2012 to December 2019, Carpay was a senior researcher in the research group of Professor Michel Ferrari at Leiden University Medical Center. Carpay began their medical career as a resident in neurology at Medisch Centrum Haaglanden from 1989 to 1997. Carpay earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam between 1979 and 1985 and attended Utrechts Stedelijk Gymnasium from 1973 to 1979.
