Ricard Solsona Álvarez

Ricard Solsona Álvarez has a diverse range of work experience. Ricard started their career in 2014 as a delivery driver at Telepizza Ch. In 2015, they worked as a licensed massage therapist at The Man Cave until 2016 when they moved to Confort Massage and continued their role as a licensed massage therapist until 2018.

In 2018, they transitioned into web development and worked as a Front-End Developer at PIXELPRO S.L, where they created web pages, landing pages, and web app interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and various frameworks such as Angular, React, Redux, Vue 2, and Vue 3. Ricard also had knowledge of JQuery, Bootstrap, and Gsap.

From 2020 to 2022, Ricard worked at KA RECOVERING SERVICES as a PHP Programmer and later as a Senior PHP Engineer. In these roles, they worked on a project to refactor a legacy application using SOLID principles, hexagonal architecture, and implementing testing, DDD, and CQRS. Ricard also developed microservices using PHP, Python, and Node.

Currently, Ricard is employed at The Mind Hub Company, starting in 2022. Ricard holds the position of Senior PHP Backend Engineer and Tech Lead Engineer, demonstrating their expertise in PHP and their leadership abilities.

Ricard Solsona Álvarez began their education in 2018 at the Institut Obert de Catalunya (IOC), where they pursued a Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior in Desarrollo de aplicaciones web (Web Application Development) until 2020. In the same year, they attended a full-stack web developer bootcamp at PIXELPRO SL.

During 2019 and 2020, Ricard took part in multiple online courses to enhance their skills in web development. Ricard completed a bootcamp in full-stack development and another in frontend development at Udemy. Additionally, they pursued a UI/UX design course at Scrimba.

In 2020, Ricard expanded their knowledge beyond web development by enrolling in a course on inbound marketing at InboundCycle. Ricard also completed a basic Python developer course and learned to use Git and GitHub through Udemy.

In terms of certifications, Ricard obtained several qualifications related to software architecture and design. These include Event-Driven Architecture, DDD en PHP (Domain-Driven Design in PHP), Domain-Driven Design - DDD Aplicado, Arquitectura Hexagonal (Hexagonal Architecture), CQRS: Command Query Responsibility Segregation, and Principios SOLID aplicados (Applied SOLID Principles). All of these certificates were obtained from CodelyTV during various months between 2021 and 2022.
