Paul Odegaard is a seasoned philanthropic advisor with extensive experience in nonprofit and development roles. Currently serving at The Minneapolis Foundation since May 2018, Odegaard collaborates with donor advisors and business leaders to promote impactful philanthropy. Previously, as a planned giving officer at Minnesota Public Radio from April 2011 to May 2018, Odegaard worked to engage members in sustaining the organization's content for future audiences. As associate director of the annual fund at Macalester College from May 2006 to April 2011, responsibilities included managing communications, training volunteers, and introducing philanthropy to students. Additional experience includes serving as a board member and development director at Altered Esthetics and as a business development coordinator at Yamamoto Moss. Odegaard holds a BA in Communications and Media Studies, as well as Music from Macalester College, where studies were completed from 2000 to 2004.
