Derek Jenkins

Derek Jenkins, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Brown University and an Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Orthopedics, both positions held since 2014. Specializing in Adult Reconstruction of the Hip and Knee, Derek also serves as an Admitting Orthopaedic Surgeon at both Rhode Island Hospital and Miriam Hospital. Prior experience includes a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Mayo Clinic Rochester from 2012 to 2013 and an orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital from 2007 to 2012. Derek obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth (2002-2007) and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Biology from Dartmouth College (1998-2002).
