Jimmy Chen

Jimmy Chen, RN, is a dedicated and experienced critical care registered nurse currently employed at Miriam Hospital since May 2024. Prior to this role, Chen served as a clinical research nurse at University Gastroenterology, LLC, from October 2023 to May 2024, and as a registered nurse in the Neuro Critical Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital from July 2019 to October 2023, focusing on acute neurological disorders and patient assessments. Additional experience includes a role as a clinical research assistant in the Department of Neurology and a student nurse intern in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Hasbro Children's Hospital, where Chen contributed to patient monitoring and care. Chen's clinical foundations are complemented by an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Rhode Island.
