Lauren Pillsbury

Lauren Pillsbury is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in pre- and post-operative care, general urology, and postoperative surgical and trauma patient management. Currently serving at Miriam Hospital since April 2016 and at Brown Physicians Inc. since June 2016, Lauren provides comprehensive urologic consultations and manages surgical care, including drain removals and complex dressings. Additionally, Lauren has been a Nurse Practitioner Student Preceptor since September 2017, guiding nursing students in their clinical education while conducting lectures on urology and nephrology. Previous roles include providing emergency care at Memorial Hospital of RI and foundational nursing experience at Rhode Island Hospital and Memorial Hospital of RI. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rhode Island, a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Saint Anselm College, and a Certificate in Nurse Practitioner - First Assist from Rhode Island College.
