Seanna Zimmerman

Seanna Zimmerman currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Miriam Hospital since September 2024. Previously, Zimmerman held the position of Director of Critical Care and Respiratory Therapy at Lifespan from October 2022 to December 2024, overseeing multiple intensive care units and specialized programs in a trauma, burn, and stroke center. With a substantial background, Zimmerman also worked at Southcoast Health as the Sr. Director of Emergency Services from July 2015 to October 2022 and the Director of Emergency Services, where responsibilities included managing a Level 2 Trauma Designation and a Stemi Center of Excellence. Prior experiences include serving as the Emergency Services Director and Inpatient Services Nurse Leader at Trinity Health Of New England and as an Administrative Supervisor. Educational credentials include ongoing DNP studies in Executive Nurse Leadership at Baylor University and a joint MSN and MBA in Healthcare Administration from Elms College.
