Bryan Alvarenga

Bryan Alvarenga has extensive experience in security and safety roles. Bryan is currently the Director of Security at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Safety and Security at Marriott Vacations Worldwide from August 2021 to September 2022. Bryan was also a Security Manager at sbe Lifestyle Hospitality from June 2021 to August 2021. Before that, Bryan worked as a Surveillance Investigator at Agua Caliente Casinos from November 2020 to July 2021, and as a Security Manager at L'Auberge Del Mar from January 2020 to June 2021. Bryan gained experience as a Loss Prevention Supervisor and Loss Prevention Agent at SLS Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills from September 2018 to January 2020. Bryan started their career in security as a Campus Safety officer at Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where they worked from May 2012 to January 2018.

Bryan Alvarenga obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. Additionally, they hold several certifications including OSHA 30 - General Industry from 360training, a Certified Hospitality Manager certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, a TIPs Instructor certification from Health Communications Inc., and a Certified Lodging Security Supervisor (CLSS) certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
