Steven Snyder has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Steven started their career as a Technology Consultant at CSC/Computer Partners, where they gained expertise in all phases of the software development life cycle. Steven then launched their own consultancy, Quality Computer Solutions, Inc., providing strategic and tactical IT consulting services to various organizations.
Steven's most recent role was at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, where they served as the CIO/VP of Information Technology. In this position, they oversaw technology, telecommunications, IT security, and data governance functions for a non-profit organization. Steven led the transition to a Digital Enterprise and constantly sought innovative ways to utilize technology to support the organization's mission. Prior to this, they spent a year as the IT Director at Mercy Home, addressing technology issues and creating a roadmap for improvement.
Throughout their career, Steven has worked with organizations in sectors such as Insurance, Hospitality, Banking, Investments, Transportation, Jewelry, Automotive, Oil & Gas, and Non-Profit. Steven has a proven track record in developing customized applications, upgrading legacy systems, coordinating IT system migrations, and improving corporate data processing capabilities.
Steven Snyder holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from DePaul University. Steven also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations Management from the same institution. In addition to their academic qualifications, Steven has pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skillset. Steven is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), awarded by ISC. Steven also holds a Computer Security & Forensic Investigation Certification from Wilbur Wright City College of Chicago. Steven has acquired the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership certification (GSTRT) from GIAC Certifications. Additionally, they have obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI. Furthermore, Steven has completed several courses in analytics, including Customer Analytics, Operations Analytics, and People Analytics, earning course certificates from Coursera.
