Janet Rossi

Janet Timmerman Rossi serves as the Director of EDP and Publishing Logistics at The MIT Press since November 2021, having previously held roles at the same organization such as Senior Manager and Production Manager from December 2001 to October 2021. In these positions, Janet managed a four-person department responsible for producing approximately 250 new titles and 400 reprints annually, while also overseeing relationships with domestic and international vendors. Earlier experience includes positions as an Editorial Project Manager at Argosy Publishing and Production Coordinator for the New England Journal of Medicine at the Massachusetts Medical Society. Janet began the career as an Assistant Editor at Little, Brown and Company from 1994 to 1996. Janet holds a B.A. in English from the College of the Holy Cross, earned in 1994.
