Don Muncy is a senior program manager with over 35 years of international development experience across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. They served for six years with the Joint Forces Command in Suffolk, Virginia, as a Senior Inter-agency Analyst, conducting lessons learned studies in various conflict zones including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Haiti. Muncy also has two years of conflict-related experience in Kandahar, Afghanistan, as a senior USAID manager during the Afghan Surge, along with additional work in Lebanon, Yemen, and various African countries. Currently, they are the Chief of Party for an evaluation and analytical services project for West Africa, focusing on countering violent extremism and capacity building for local partner organizations. Muncy is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at The American University in Washington, D.C., with interests in democratic governance, conflict resolution, and anti-corruption.
