Lans Kumalah

Lans Kumalah has over 35 years of work experience in various roles. Lans started their career in 1984 as a First Secretary at the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, they monitored economic and development issues at the European Union Commission, conducted research, wrote reports, and represented the Embassy in negotiations with the EU Commission. Lans then served as the National Authorizing Officer/Director at the National Authorizing Officer (EDF) from 1993 to 1999. In 2000, they joined The Mitchell Group Inc. as the Director of Operations and also worked as a Senior Program Manager for the Benin CLEF Project. Overall, Lans Kumalah has extensive experience in operations management, program management, and negotiation.

Lans Kumalah completed their PhD in Regional Development Planning at the University of Bordeaux in France from 1977 to 1980.
