Gemma co-founded the Underwire Film Festival and has contributed to multiple film festivals, enhancing their expertise in the field. They hold a Master's degree in Screen Project Development from Screen Academy Scotland and a Bachelor's degree in Film and Television from Edinburgh College of Art.
