Jan Rutten

Jan Rutten is an experienced professional in the beverage and marketing sectors, currently serving as the Importeur for The Mocktail Club since March 2022, which specializes in ready-to-serve alcohol-free cocktails. As the Owner of Het Proefstation, established in August 2015, Jan independently imports quality wines and alcohol-free alternatives, supplying a wide range of horeca and specialty retail outlets. Since November 2016, Jan has acted as the exclusive agent for Maison CATTIN in the Netherlands. Previous roles include sales at Grapelabels HQ, partnership with Wijngasten, and ownership of MERKBAAR MARKETING, a marketing agency that focused on the beverages, food, and luxury product industries. Jan has also contributed to higher education as a part-time lecturer at Tio university and founded the European Cookery School Association to promote culinary education. Jan holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
