Jessica Barry

Jessica Barry is the current President at The Modern College of Design. Jessica has been in the design industry for over 20 years. Jessica started their career as a Senior Art Director at DesignCrew, Inc. where they worked for two years before moving on to freelancing. As a freelance graphic designer, Jessica developed strategic marketing and advertising campaigns for clients, advertising agencies, and design firms. In 2003, Jessica took a position as a Senior Graphic Designer at Wilson Advertising + Design where they were responsible for concept and design of corporate identity, advertising, trade show displays, sales materials, direct mail, multimedia presentations, and web design. Jessica has been with The Modern College of Design since 2004 and became President in 2018.

Jessica Barry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Antioch University Midwest, a Diploma in Graphic Design from The Modern College of Design, and a Diploma from Versailles High School.

Some direct reports include Chris Beach - Instructor, Rick Willits - Director of Career Services & Strategic Partnerships, and Melissa Ferguson - Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness & Compliance & Civil Rights Coordinator.
