Animesh Kumar

Animesh Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Animesh co-founded and served as the CTO at The Modern Data Company from 2018 to present. At Modern, they played a key role in building DataOS, the world's first operating system for data. Animesh was responsible for leading the development of DataOS architecture and high-performance benchmarks.

Prior to that, Animesh co-founded and served as the CTO at 47Billion from 2014 to 2018. This Product Engineering and Experience Design company worked on projects for notable clients such as Reliance Jio and Cisco.

In 2017, Animesh worked as an Architect for DMP (Audience, Distribution) and SDK at Apsalar, Inc. where they were involved in building a Data Management Platform and a first-party Android/iOS/Unity SDK.

From 2016 to 2017, they co-founded and served as the CEO at TukTuk, a venture focused on an undisclosed area.

Animesh served as the VP of Engineering at Intertrust from 2014 to 2016. Animesh played a leadership role in the development of the company's engineering projects.

Prior to that, Animesh worked as the CTO - Enterprise at Strumsoft Inc. from 2010 to 2014. Some of the projects they worked on include the Verizon VZMessaging platform and Personagraph analytics.

Animesh worked as a Lead/Architect at Impetus Technologies from 2009 to 2010 and was responsible for innovating, building technical competence in emerging technologies, and managing deliveries. Animesh also built Kundera, a JPA 2.1 compliant Polyglot Object-Datastore Mapping Library for NoSQL Datastores.

From 2004 to 2009, they held multiple roles at Webdunia. Animesh worked as a Software Architect, Team Leader, and Senior Software Engineer. Animesh was involved in developing various platforms and applications including networking platforms, patient management systems, education portals, and advertising solutions.
