Srujan Akula

Srujan Akula has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Srujan is currently the CEO of The Modern Data Company, a position they have held since April 2018. Prior to this, Srujan worked as a Product Consultant and Advisor for multiple companies starting from July 2017. From April 2016 to July 2017, they served as the VP of Product at Apsalar, Inc. Before that, they held the position of VP of Product Management at Intertrust Technologies Corporation from October 2015 to April 2016. Srujan also served as VP of Product Management at Personagraph (An Intertrust Company) from June 2013 to October 2015. Srujan has experience as a CEO and Co-Founder of Doot Inc. from March 2011 to April 2013, where they received notable awards for their work. Srujan also worked as the Director of Consumer Product Management at GreenRoad from September 2010 to March 2011 and as a Senior Product Manager at TeleNav from April 2009 to September 2010. Additionally, Srujan has worked as a Senior Product Manager at PixSense from December 2007 to April 2009 and as a Product Manager at Motorola from April 2003 to December 2007, where they were responsible for managing carrier branded services portfolio and played a key role in product value proposition and experience definition.

Srujan Akula completed a Bachelor's in Technology in Computer Science from Kakatiya University between 1994 and 1998. Following this, between 1998 and 2000, Srujan pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University.
