Garth Stapley

Garth Stapley currently serves as an Information Specialist at the California Department of Aging, a position held since September 2023. With a long-standing career at The Modesto Bee starting in 1994, Garth has held roles as Opinions Editor and Reporter, focusing on special projects related to regional transportation, growth, and water issues. Garth obtained a dual degree in Journalism and French from California State University-Sacramento from 1983 to 1986 and later earned a Master's degree in History with a concentration in International Relations from Stanislaus State Continuing and Professional Education.
