Melissa Saunders M.A. is a dedicated professional educator and employability coach at The Monarch School and Institute since April 2019, where previous roles included professional educator and substitute professional educator. Prior experience includes serving as a volunteer training coordinator with BASIS PHOENIX BOOSTERS and teaching at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Melissa has a background in rehabilitation, having worked as a rehabilitation specialist and vocational evaluator at the Workforce & Technology Center, and as a rehabilitation director at Illinois Valley Industries. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Illinois University.

About The Monarch Institute for Neurological Differences The Monarch School is the cornerstone program of the Monarch Institute for Neurological Differences which also includes The Monarch Diagnostic Clinic, Therapy Services, Training Center, Transition Services, and the Replication Program.
