Juck Somsaman

Juck Somsaman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of visual effects, animation, and media. Juck is the Founder of The Monk Studios Entertainment Ltd since 2022 and the Founder of Monk (Shanghai) Culture & Media Ltd. Co. since 2022 as well. Prior to that, they were involved in executive studio management and served as the Creative Director/Founder of The Monk Studio from 2006. Juck also held various roles in vfx and animation at Rhythm & Hues from 1991 to 2007. Additionally, they served as the Computer Animation Festival Chair at ACM SIGGRAPH in 2017.

Juck Somsaman completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in art from Chulalongkorn University from 1987 to 1990. Later, from 1989 to 1991, Juck pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts.
