Monica Rodriguez

Monica Rodriguez is an experienced educator with a robust background in leadership and Spanish language instruction. Currently serving as the Head of School at The Montessori School of Raleigh since July 2020, Monica has previously held significant roles including Upper School Director at The Latin School of Chicago and various academic positions at Morgan Park Academy, where responsibilities included Dean of Academics and Director of Global Studies. Initial teaching experience in Spanish was garnered at institutions such as Countryside Day School, Alain Locke Charter School, and Near North Montessori School. Monica holds a Master's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with an AMI Elementary Education Certification from the Montessori Center of Minnesota.
