Emily Read, APR has a diverse work history in communications and public relations. Emily began their career as an Admissions Officer at Florida State University in 2003. Emily then worked as an Account Executive at Integrated Marketing Solutions from 2005 to 2006. Emily went on to become a Public Relations Coordinator at Hospice of the Chesapeake in 2006. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the Communications Director for the American Heart Association. Currently, Emily is the Managing Director at Moore, where they oversee national campaigns, secures media impressions for clients, and supports non-profits through the Moore Impact initiative.
Emily Read, APR has a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing and Management Communications, which they obtained from Florida State University in 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communications from the same university in 2002. Their secondary education took place at Crestview High School from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their academic qualifications, Emily Read is also accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Universal Accreditation Board and Public Relations Society of America.
