Michael Born

As Senior Vice President of Construction, Michael is responsible for the day to day construction operations of all new development projects across the country. Since joining MORGAN in 2006, Michael has been responsible for the construction of 2,200 units at a total loan value of $340 million in Texas, North Carolina and Missouri.

Prior to joining MORGAN, Michael was part of the construction/development team on a Master Planned Development in North Miami, designed for 6,400 units totaling $5 billion for SwerdlowBoca Developers, where he completed new townhome concept planning and construction of high-rise condominiums. Michael started his career with one of the leading single family home builders in the country, Toll Brothers, Inc., working on construction/development on Toll Brothers first Active Adult Master Planned Community in Haymarket, VA., consisting of single family, townhome, midrise and mixed use concepts.

Michael attended Texas A&M University where he earned his BA in Construction Science and a Minor in Business. He also was a walk on fullback under head coach R. C. Slocum. Michael holds his General Contractor's Licenses in Florida and California.
