Laura Jones

Laura Jones has extensive experience in accounting, currently serving as an Accountant in Commercial Sales at The Mosaic Company since March 2007. In this role, Laura reconciles Revenue Recognition general ledger accounts to ensure accurate revenue deferral based on transit times and makes journal entries for correct revenue period recognition. Prior to this, Laura held the position of Accountant Associate in Inventory Accounting, responsible for reconciling inventory across various locations and ensuring alignment between operations and financial systems. Laura's career in accounting began at Time Inc. as a Supervisor in Accounts Receivable for Book Operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business/Finance from Jones International University, obtained between 2010 and 2013.
