Marnel Jones

Marnel Jones serves as the Director of Government & Public Affairs for Canada at The Mosaic Company since April 2022, overseeing strategic public affairs and government relations for the potash business. Prior experience includes Senior Corporate Communications Manager at Mosaic, where Marnel led global communications strategy and organized a major leadership event. Marnel also held the position of Director of Public Relations & Community Engagement at the Brandt Group of Companies, establishing their inaugural public relations function. Earlier roles at Mosaic encompassed Senior Manager Communications, Communications Manager, Senior Community Investment Specialist, and Community Investment Coordinator, focusing on impactful communications and community engagement efforts. Marnel's career began at the Moose Jaw Warriors Hockey Club as Community Relations Director, building stakeholder partnerships. Marnel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Athabasca University and a Double Diploma in Marketing & Business Administration from Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
