Cheryl Byrne

Cheryl Byrne is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at The Motion Agency since January 2024, Cheryl also operates as the Sole Proprietor of Cheryl Byrne Communications, which has worked with diverse clients such as a precision medicine company, a large Washington, DC trade association, and a major affordable housing nonprofit. Prior to these roles, Cheryl held the position of Senior Vice President at v-Fluence Interactive Public Relations from September 2001 to September 2008, specializing in online analytics and strategic counsel. Cheryl has also contributed to various organizations, including the United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary, and Handgun Control Inc. as Assistant Director of Communications. Educationally, Cheryl holds a BA in English from UMass Boston and a Certificate in Public Relations from Northeastern University.
