As a Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and Chief Rule Breaker at The Motley Fool since July 1993, David has played a pivotal role in shaping investment strategies. Additionally, David serves as Chairman of The Motley Fool Foundation and has been actively involved with Conscious Capitalism since October 2018, including serving as a Board Member and Co-Founder of Conscious Capitalism Washington, D.C. David’s educational background includes a B.A. w/ Honors in English & Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, supplemented by early education at St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts.
