Dana Kuefner

Dana Kuefner serves as the Director of the Department of Volunteer Services at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where the focus is on integrating volunteers into the health system's mission of providing compassionate patient care and advancing medicine. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director at the same hospital, Program Director at Selfhelp Community Services, and Director of Food Programs at NY Common Pantry. Dana began a career in humanitarian efforts as a Coordinator of Volunteer Services for Doctors Without Borders, following service as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University at Albany.
