Eric Barna

Eric Barna serves as the Director of Education at Mount Sinai International, where responsibilities include developing educational initiatives aimed at enhancing global healthcare quality. At The Mount Sinai Hospital, Barna has held multiple roles, including Director of the Hospitalist Career Advisement Program, which Eric founded to assist Internal Medicine Residents in transitioning to Hospital Medicine careers. Barna also contributes as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Education and as the Director of Education for the Division of Hospital Medicine. In addition, Barna serves as Associate Residency Program Director at Mount Sinai Health System. Previous experience includes over four years as a Physician Advisor Manager at R1 RCM, focusing on Utilization Review. Barna completed a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University, a Doctor of Medicine from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Albany.
