Kishore Iyer

Kishore Iyer is a distinguished medical professional currently serving as a Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since August 2023, within the Arnhold Institute of Health System Design & Global Health. With extensive experience as a Transplant Surgeon and Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at The Mount Sinai Hospital since 2006, Kishore has previously held the role of Transplant Surgeon at Children's Memorial Hospital from 2003 to 2006 and the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1999 to 2003. Kishore Iyer holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Surgery and earned an MB, BS in Medicine from Stanley Medical College in Madras. Additionally, Kishore is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Evaluation of Health Interventions & Outcomes at The London School of Economics and Political Science, expected to be completed in July 2024.
