Alfe Wood is an accomplished professional in the non-profit sector, currently serving as a Development Officer and Associate Director of Development at The Mountaineers since December 2022. Previously, Alfe held key positions at Seattle University from August 2018 to November 2022, including Operations Manager for Network Design and Operations Coordinator. Alfe's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington.

The Mountaineers is a community of outdoor enthusiasts passionate about exploration, discovery, learning, and conservation. Founded in 1906 by 151 visionaries, our members named peaks and explored waterways and built trails to uncover unique and challenging landscapes. We helped create the North Cascades Wilderness area, and passed the National Wilderness Act. With an average of 6 activities a day to help you climb, ski, hike, paddle, sail, snowshoe, scramble, and more, we invite you to join us to lose yourself in the outdoors.
