Gustavo Magalhaes

Director, Head of Special Projects at The MRG Group

Gustavo Magalhaes is a Brazilian-born designer who currently serves as the Head of Product at The MRG Group. Gustavo has over a decade of experience in web design, print, branding, illustration, email marketing, online marketing, video, and mobile solutions.

Gustavo started their career in 2007 as a Senior Graphic Designer at Advance Comunicação. Gustavo then moved to 333 Comunicacao in 2010, where they served as a Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Director before joining Universal Music Group in 2016.

At Universal Music Group, Gustavo worked as a Front End Developer and UX/UI Designer, designing and developing websites for some of Canada's most talented artists. Gustavo also created web tools that helped drive business growth. In October 2019, Gustavo left Universal Music Group to join The MRG Group as Head of Product.

Gustavo Magalhaes has a diploma in digital media design from Red River College Polytechnic, a certificate in marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a bachelor's degree in communications from Federal University of Ceara.

Gustavo Magalhaes works with Simon Benevides - Regional Sales Manager, Shawn Landry - General Manager, AdmitONE, and Dach Hiller - Head of Marketing. Gustavo Magalhaes reports to Matt Gibbons, Founder & President.
