Mary Ladrick

Director Of Education at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley

Mary Ladrick serves as the Director of Education at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley since January 2019, and has been the President and Tour Guide at Cincinnati's Best Walking Tours since October 2016, where engaging tours highlighting Cincinnati's history are created and presented. Previously, Mary held various roles, including Business Manager at RSL Commercial Architecture for over 27 years, Manager of Public Programs at the Taft Museum of Art, and Executive Assistant at Heritage Village Museum, where diverse skills in research, collections management, bookkeeping, and guiding were developed. Early experiences included a Research Intern position focusing on the Elk Lick House and a Registration Intern role at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Public History from Northern Kentucky University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Mary's College, and a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Cincinnati.
