Rachel S. Moore

Rachel Moore has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Rachel is currently an Advisory Council Member at Californians for Arts and Music Education in Public Schools, starting in February 2023. Previously, they have held roles as a Member at The Phi Beta Kappa Society since June 1994, and as a Member at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences since April 2020. Rachel has also served as a Board Member at the US Presidential Scholars Foundation since December 2020. Rachel has been involved with organizations such as the Los Angeles Coalition for Jobs & the Economy and the Central City Association of Los Angeles. Additionally, Rachel has held advisory council and board member positions at OVATION TV DISTRIBUTION LIMITED and the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board respectively. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chair of the Performing Arts Centers Consortium and held the position of President & CEO at The Music Center.

Rachel Moore has a diverse education history. Rachel completed their A.B. honors in Ethics and Political Philosophy at Brown University from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued an M.A. in Arts Management from Columbia University, which they completed from 1992 to 1994. In 2003, Rachel attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business on a Fellowship, focusing on Non Profit Leaders in the Arts. Lastly, in 2019, they received an Honorary Doctorate in Musical Arts from Colburn School.
