Elaine Kim

Elaine Kim is an accomplished UX Designer currently at The Mx Group, where responsibilities include ideating unique UX concepts, conducting market research, creating design wireframes and prototypes, and presenting UX demonstrations to stakeholders. With experience as an Associate UX Designer, Elaine has focused on developing scalable design systems across various platforms while maintaining user-centered design practices within an agile environment. Previously, Elaine led a team as a UX/UI Designer at Poplar to create a mobile app prototype for drivers managing service orders. Early career roles included positions as a Junior Art Director and Digital Designer at The Mx Group and Crate & Barrel, respectively, with a strong foundation in graphic design from various companies, including Hornblower Cruises and Steracle Press. Elaine holds a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and furthered education at General Assembly.
