The Nairobi Women's Hospital Group

The Nairobi Women’s hospital has grown to be the leading private hospital that provides quality and affordable health care services to low and middle-income Kenyan women and their families. In over 15 years the hospital has expanded to meet the growing demand for its services to the women and their families. From just one branch at Hurlingham, we now have other branches at Adams, Ongata Rongai, Nakuru Branch and Kitengela. Plans are underway to open branches in all major towns in Kenya and Africa at large. This is in line with our vision and mission. Opened in 2001, The Nairobi Women’s Hospital Group has achieved great milestones in the medical industry through its expertise and service provision. The hospital is the first of its kind in the East and Central African region and for the past fifteen years we have seen the rapid growth and change of face of the hospital in reproductive healthcare issues. We have specialized clinics and also handle all other general, medical and surgical conditions that require specialized care; we have consultants in all fields of medicine. We currently have five hospitals under our wings- We intend to continue with this expansion, even as we endeavor to bring quality health care near you. The Hospital currently has a total capacity of 375 beds, with adequate beds in Maternity, Paediatrics, medical and surgical wards for both male and female patients. We also offer free medical and psycho social support to survivors of Gender Based Violence through the GVRC center within The Nairobi Women’s Hospital. The Nairobi Women’s Hospital Group has also established The Nairobi Women’s Hospital-Medical Training College, with a vision of “Transforming Healthcare Education in Africa”. Ensuring that healthcare providers are well skilled with the knowledge, passion and dedication so as to ensure that healthcare provision is beyond expectation.
