Kali Holloway

Kali Holloway is an experienced columnist currently contributing to The Nation and The Daily Beast since June 2020, alongside a diverse freelance writing career that began in January 2001, involving prestigious outlets such as Salon, TIME, and The Guardian. Kali has held important roles as an outreach consultant for documentaries such as Southern Rites and The New Black, and served as Senior Director and Senior Correspondent at the Make It Right Project. Previous positions include Senior Writer and Associate Editor at AlterNet and Co-Curator for the Theater of the Resist Performance Series at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Education was completed at Oberlin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
